Yahoo! is a global media and tech company that links people to their interests, spanning from finance and commerce to entertainment and news. I worked with Yahoo! News and Yahoo! Shops teams to create original content and layouts to generate a new style for the ever growing platform. 

THE YODEL

The yodel is a long-standing newsletter in the Yahoo! community. The Yahoo New Visuals team was tasked with re-branding the subscription.

I worked alongside my teammates to create strong visual options for the newsletter. Below are the initial rounds mocked by me, and the presentation created by Caitlin Murray for Yahoo! News.

GRAPHIC ARTICLE HEADERS

Original graphics based on the articles from Yahoo! Entertainment and Yahoo! News. Each article title image resulted from original creation or a branded template for specific article series.

YAHOO! SHOPS

I assisted the Yahoo! Shops team to create key graphics for their home page. From category banners to promotional graphics, we worked to find a voice that fit the Yahoo! Shops brand.

DECK TEMPLATES

I had the pleasure of making multiple decks for the Yahoo! executive team and news team. Below is one of my deck design layouts for the Yahoo News Visuals team.

SOCIAL MEDIA GUIDE

The Yahoo! News Visuals team updated and created a comprehensive guide for the Yahoo! News social media team. I designed the deck and helped create step-by-step instructions on how to use the photoshop templates.
